New BYU-Idaho Legacy Society
LDS Philanthropies at Brigham Young University-Idaho has created a new association that recognizes donors who have named the university in a deferred gift. Donors of the new BYU-Idaho Legacy Society were recognized at a special luncheon on June 29.

Central Campus Gets a Facelift

Construction on the Taylor Quad on the BYU-Idaho campus began the last week of June and will continue through October.  Renovations will include added walkways, water features and footpaths.

BYU-Idaho business marketing alumni have started a company in Rexburg called Get Found First (GFF).  GFF is a Google AdWords Certified Partner and has been around since 2008.

Interior Design Dept. Takes Top Award
Brigham Young University-Idaho’s Department of Interior Design takes top national honors — again. Out of more than 60 eligible institutions, BYU-Idaho was one of 10 other universities to receive the National Kitchen and Bath Association’s (NKBA) Excellence in Education award.

Alumni Days Family Movie
The BYU-Idaho Alumni Days Family Pillow Movie will feature Disney Nature's African Cats. This free event on June 24 will include complementary popcorn and sodas and will start at the end of the Fifty Lap Relay (around 9:30 pm) in the Hart Auditorium.

Brad Egbert Named Alumni Council President Elect
Brad Egbert '83 has been appointed to serve as the Alumni Council President Elect.  He will replace Chantal '02 Cobia in April 2012 who is currently serving as President.  Brad is married to Tamara '03 Egbert and they have served on the Alumni Council for the past two years.  In their role with BYU-Idaho Alumni they have represented the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
